Join our Community.
By providers. For Providers.
When we were providers, we wanted two things.
The motivation and support to work on our business and not in our business.
A regular space to safely and confidently discuss business issues.
So, we have created the BeMore community. It is a place where you bring the questions and you might even provide the answers! We facilitate, and share our knowledge but at it’s heart is a peer-to-peer network where you can give and receive support.
And, it is completely free of charge to be part of.
How It Works
-
BeMore Together Monthly Co-Working
We love co-working! It is a place where we get stuff done!
If you have never tried co-working before, it is a great way to dedicate time to working on your business.
The process is simple. You log on. Have a chat with your other co-workers. You commit to how you intend to spend your precious 2-hours.
And then you get on with it. You have a break in the middle to check in on how you are doing, and then at the end we take time to celebrate what we have achieved.
It is so easy for us to get absorbed in club issues, parent challenges, staff rotas, paying bills and more that we don’t always prioritise the things that are important.
Planning, strategising, thinking, growing, embedding, changing, innovating, improving. They are all great words and exciting to do… if only we had the time.
Well, now you do!
Boost focus, accountability, motivation and feel connected.
Together, you will get through your to-do list, grow confidence, and achieve more with ease.

BeMore Informed
A regular, collaborative discussion forum where you can bring the challenges of managing a childcare setting to receive advice, guidance and support.
Not sure what to do with a member of staff who is underperforming? Or how to get more children into your setting?
Or are you short of ideas about snack? Or maybe you want to review your fees and find it difficult.
We might not have all the answers (although we are yet to come across a situation we have not experienced!) but we will know where to signpost you.
By joining this group, you will receive support, collaboration, and the invaluable knowledge of not feeling alone.
To help us prepare, we ask you to submit your questions in advance by xxx.
This is a completely free session. We are doing it because we firmly believe in the power of community. When things are better for one, they are better for all.
Time: 12.30 -1.30pm
Leadership and Management
-
This session will give providers five actionable tips to support their recruitment and retention. It will help them find people who want to work with children. People who think getting covered in glitter is a ‘good thing’. People who love their job so much that they see it as a career and not a temporary fill-in position.
Content
This is a back-to-basics session for anyone who struggles to recruit or struggles to recruit the right people. Attendees will learn:
1. The difference between what employers and employees value
2. How to attract staff by applying marketing principles to their advertising
3. An introduction to organizational values and how they impact recruitment
4. The low or no-cost benefits that make a difference to employees

It looks at what is important to the people we want to bring into the workforce.

Can you confidently describe the difference between leadership and management? And do you know when to use leadership skills and when to use management skills? If the answer is no, you are not alone. It is widely accepted that many leaders and managers never receive training and instinctively learn how to do the role. Instinct can be great, but how do you know you are getting it right?
If you ever doubt yourself, have less than perfect relationships, can’t get your staff to do what you would like them to or just want a refresher, this session is for you. It is relevant to anyone who is a manager whether you are employed or run your own business.
